Day 1: Punta Arenas - Ushuaia
Take the early morning bus from
Punta Arenas to
Ushuaia, Argentina (12 hours).
On the way, cross the Straight of Magellan by ferry from the South
American mainland to Tierra del Fuego.
Located on the shore of the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia is the southernmost
city in the world and the ideal starting point for our full day
discovery tours.
Day 2: Tierra del Fuego National Park and Beagle Channel
Join us for a tour to Tierra del Fuego National Park,
the only park in Argentina that combines the peaks of the Andes and the salty
water of the sea. This full day excursion takes us out of the city toward the
slope of Monte Susana. Continue along Rio Pipo valley to Bahia Ensenada
and discover the abundant native Fuegian flora and fauna on walks through
temperate rainforests and along beautiful lakes. Observe the impact that beavers,
introduced in the southern part of Tierra del Fuego in 1946 to establish a fur
industry, have had on today's landscape.
In the afternoon, sail by catamaran from Bahia Lapataia through
the legendary Beagle Channel back to Ushuaia.
On the way, visit the Bridges Archipelago, which is known for its large colonies of
sea birds and sea lions.

Day 3: Tierra del Fuego by Land Rover and Canoe
Depart by Land Rover towards the interior of Tierra del Fuego
to reach the Fueguian Andes through ancient forests and valleys covered by peat bogs.
Cross the Andes at Garibaldi Pass
at 1,350 feet above sea level, enjoying a
beautiful view over the
Escondido and Fagnano Lakes. From here, we
start our off-road adventure all the way down to the northern side of the
Fueguian mountains. The Land Rover takes us on an unforgettable ride through
old forests, mud puddles and alongside the stony shore of Lago Fagnano.
Later, enjoy a typical Fueguian lamb barbecue (vegetarian option available)
and enjoy the quiet waters of Lago Escondido by canoe. Return to
Ushuaia in the afternoon.
